In an extra talk to the scheduled programme Andrew Day, leader of Warwick District, described plans for a new riverside park connecting Warwick and Leamington.
Proviso. The council emphasises these plans are only very early ideas, and in no way represent a considered or completed design, and want to make this entirely clear. WDC has not consulted with local residents nor all of the important stakeholders on this site. Therefore it stressed that these slides are entirely conceptual. It should also be noted that the project is not yet funded, even for preliminary design. These plans are early ideas of a developing project.
