October 2017; We’ve been voted Britain’s happiest town!  Leamington has changed remarkably in the last twenty years. Here’s the news item.

No longer a sleepy backwater, new devel opments around the town, combined with attractive period architecture close to the centre, really do give a wide range of options for would-be residents. For any visitor returning after ten years the most striking impression of the centre is  the number and variety of cafes, bistros and restaurants, creating a buzz for all ages.

The growth of Warwick and Coventry Universities, Jaguar Land Rover and of the many software companies have led to remarkable changes in the nature of the town and of its population and visitors. But… it’s not all so simple, see the November 2017 Newsletter for some of the downsides we need to watch out for.
