December 6th: Special talk and event

Bring a friend to our special Leamington evening on Thursday 6th December at the Dormer Place conference centre.

John Richards, the well known Leamington bookbinder, who has worked at Compton Verney and on other commissions for the Royal Academy and the National Trust, will give a talk on his life in bookbinding and bring with him examples of his work. During the evening members and friends will also celebrate Christmas with mulled wine and seasonal  refreshments .

Doors open at 7 o’clock and John’s talk will begin at 7 30. Entry will be free for both members and their guests but a glass of wine and added Christmas refreshments will cost £ 2.50.

The work of the Society will be demonstrated and an opportunity given to ask questions.

We look forward to a fascinating evening where we hope to welcome not just our members but friends and anyone who is interested in the Society’s work in caring for our beautiful town.
